While still in the etheric state, the androgynous human being of Gen 1,26-2,17, called simply “man,” was brought into existence in the manner described in OS. As yet, no materialized “Blood” coursed through human veins. We are in an early race (Age) of Lemuria (I-1), perhaps the fourth, when Mars pulled away from the Sun complex (still containing Sun-Mars-Venus-Mercury) and passed through the Earth-Moon complex so as to leave the “Blood” component of iron in it (see the order of separation of the planets in I-27). That race expired in a period of rest, “pralaya,” which the Bible calls a “Deep Sleep” (Gen 2,21), and the Moon separated (perhaps Lemuria’s fifth race; cf. I-27), laying the basis for materialization. While the Eloha Yahweh is first mentioned in Gen 2,4b, “he” did not separate from the others until the Moon separated from the Earth-Moon mass, at which time “he” went from the Sun to the Moon to direct the further evolution of humanity on Earth, the other six Elohim remaining on the Sun.

We come now to what must have happened during the pralaya, the “Deep Sleep” of Gen 2,21, to bring about the sexualization of human beings. Eve was created first, that is, she was created before Adam. “Man” already existed in that etheric world, but as an androgynous being, so Eve was taken first out of that androgynous “man” (Gen 2,21-23). We are not talking about the later Eve of Gen 3. The extraction, of course, of the female element from the androgynous “man” in the etheric state would leave the male element as a separate part, so that the two would then exist separately, but at this point the action is really on Eve, the fruitful maternal element. Here, in what is buried in the Biblical account, one of the Elohim, one who was among those to remain on the Sun, had to sacrifice its female characteristic in order to bring about the development of a female human being in the etheric Earth. That Eloha, then being itself only of male characteristic, conjugated with Eve to produce the etheric male offspring called Cain. The being who was eventually to materialize into the hardened human being called Adam already existed in the spiritual world as the remnant of the “man” from whom Eve was created. But in order for that male element to move into the etheric Earth, it was necessary for another Eloha to sacrifice its male element, thus becoming itself predominantly female. That Eloha was Yahweh, who then went to the Moon.

But before any human being descended even into the material state that could be called hard, i.e., “Adam,” those things transpired that are mentioned in “The Nativity,” whereby the creative spirits withheld a portion of the unspoiled etheric bodies of both the female and the male—the etheric bodies that would, at the “Right Time,” incarnate as Luke’s Mary and the Nathan-Jesus child. This retention of an unsullied portion of the etheric body—the Life Body—is reflected in Job 2,6 where God says that Job’s “life” shall be beyond Satan’s (i.e., Lucifer’s at this stage) power. (It is also retroactively reflected by the withdrawal of the “tree of life” in Gen 3,22-24.) Then the Fall of the human astral body occurred as described in Gen 3. Yahweh by now bore primarily a female characteristic, Moon-like. The female menstrual and human birth cycles take their characteristic from that aspect. Moreover, the characteristic and desire of Yahweh was that the human being should not descend into a hardened state, but merely touch the Earth existence to recognize its “I Am” nature. This is more fully explored under “Blood” in Vol. 2. Unity, tribe, family, were all female characteristics, as was the lunar calendar of the “chosen” Hebrew people. But Providence had it that an Archangel called Lucifer (literally “light bearer”) should remain behind during the “wisdom”-developing Ancient Moon Condition of Consciousness. And this retarded spiritual being was thus more interested in bringing knowledge to the human being during the Earth Condition of Consciousness (which was to implant “love”). Lucifer thus tempted and tainted the human astral body and consequently, in turn, the etheric and physical bodies— all the “members” of the human being. As yet, no Ego had entered, so no moral guilt was implicit. In time, the counterbalancing “grace” would make the erasure of that taint possible. Thus, what came about without human moral fault would be paid for by a sacrifice without human expenditure (Heb; see The Concept of Original Sin and Grace [OSG]).
