Knowledge
of the significance of the distinction between these 2 totally different
genealogies was lost to Christianity early in the post-Christian era,
to be regained only through the insights of Rudolf Steiner and anthroposophy.
Consequently the genealogies are ignored by today’s theology as inconsequential
mumblings, but today’s theology does not understand the nature of the
incarnation of Christ. It is critical that this be remedied, and that
the insights of anthroposophy gain a hold within humanity if its salvation
is to be accomplished.
