In

of the human being’s evolution (from a certain early point) are as follows:

These
are not recognized in Brit., which deals only with their historical
or literary meaning, but they are recognized in RHCD
(in Classical Mythology), as follows:
| Golden
Age |
the
1st and best of the 4 Ages of the human being; an era of peace
and innocence |
| Silver Age |
the 2nd of the 4 Ages of the human being: characterized by an increase
of impiety and of human weakness |
| Bronze
Age |
the
3rd of the 4 Ages of the human being, marked by war and violence |
| Iron
Age |
the
last and worst of the 4 Ages of the human being, characterized
by danger, corruption, and toil |
(MWCD
also recognizes all four “ages,” but more mundanely.) And WNWD
also recognizes the first two, as follows:
| Golden
Age |
an
imaginary early age in which humanity was ideally happy, prosperous,
and innocent |
| Silver
Age |
the
second age of the world, inferior to the earlier Golden Age |
