It is helpful to see, in tabular and chronological order, a listing of great spiritual leaders of post-Atlantean times. For this, the two above-cited books are most helpful, from which the following lists are taken (their common personalities in bold):

Neither is, nor purports to be, all-inclusive. It should be noted that there is a difference of approach. One is, indeed, “turning points,” and the other primarily gives the leading initiate of a particular Mystery School, e.g., Brahman (Krishna), Egyptian (Hermes), Dionysus (Orpheus), Delphi (Pythagoras), Eleusis (Plato).
