Robert Powell has clarified something implicit in Steiner’s message, namely, that there is a correspondence between a year in the life of an individual and a century in the life of Christianity. We have already seen (I-19) how the Venus Pentagram makes a complete rotation of the 12 signs of the sidereal zodiac in 1199 yrs, which essentially equals a 100- year rhythm multiple cosmically. He combines this with the life of Christ at 33 1/3 yrs (see also INE, Lect. 3), which established a new rhythm such that it is an integer of the rhythm of 100. He identifies Father Pietro Archiati (see NEWS, Winter 94-95, p. 12 for biographical sketch) as the first, insofar as he knows, to have pointed out such correspondence. Inasmuch as the most important rhythm in human biography is the 7-yr rhythm, he applies it to develop such correspondence into the following pattern:

He applies this correspondence to further developments in Church history as they relate to the rhythms (time required to orbit the sidereal zodiac) of the respective planets, but this would overly extend the present chart.
