I-66 Tomberg’s portrayal of the human being’s encounters with the Cosmic Evil Trinity and the Cosmic Good Trinity Anthroposophical Studies of the Old Testament, Chap. 5, Sec. 2 We have already encountered expressions of the domain of evil in charts I-22, I-27, I-28 and I-32. In this one, Tomberg speaks of “The Trinity of Cosmic Evil,” composed of Lucifer, Ahriman and the Azura (or Asura or Adzura), in the following descending order:
The time of the human being’s encounter with Azura is still in the distant future. We shall see a biblical reflection of this in Daniel and Revelation. At present, the conflict between Good and Evil has not yet descended into the human being’s physical body, though it is mirrored there by what takes place in the higher members. If, for instance, as a result of this conflict the gall-bladder or liver becomes ill, the cause is not to be sought in the physical body, but in the astral-etheric region. At present, the human being’s three encounters with the cosmic good do not reach down to the physical body, but are reflected in the following tabulation:
