In the evolution of the human being, it was necessary that the Hierarchies withdraw more and more from direct guidance up through the period in which Christ incarnated. Thereafter, in accordance with the pattern of evolution, the subsequent periods have and will reflect the former periods as the human being (the Prodigal Son) returns to the spiritual fold of the Father.
