The human being who is initiated into the higher worlds is conscious of the Egos that dwell in those worlds. In this lecture Steiner speaks of there being an Ego of each of the human bodies. To activate it, the individual Ego must permeate the body in question, and in doing so becomes conscious in that body’s world. He concludes the lecture with a 3-fold simile, which may be charted as follows:
