The Gethsemane feature was built in 1975. The bronze Christ stands six feet high from its kneeling position. The feature was sculpted in New York City by a famous sculptor, and the marble on which it kneels came from Cortina, Italy. The stones of the hill were brought from the hill country of Texas a few hundred miles away.
